Welcome
Welcome to the MX-5 Owners Club North Thames Region website.Your Area Co-ordinator is Eric Terry. If you wish to contact me you will find an e-mail link at the foot of the page.
What do we want from North Thames? I expect it’s the same things you want. To have a vibrant forum to:-
- have the opportunity to meet other MX-5 owners and talk about our pride and joy.
- meet like minded people socially and enjoy their company.
- experience the enjoyment of driving my MX-5 in the company of others.
- improve direct communication between members. North Thames has its own section on the Owners Club Forum. There is a link to it at the top of the page.
- find out about and participate in the events organised by the MX-5 Owners Club, adjacent regions or other MX-5 motor sport related events.
- Above all – HAVE FUN!!!!
Why not come along and join us. Our regular monthly meetings and details on how to get there are shown below. We look forward to seeing you there and would love to have your input on interesting things to do. You can also join our Area discussions by clicking on the Forum link in the menu bar.

Where we Meet
North Thames Region meetings are held on the last Wednesday of the month (except December) at "The Eagle" public house, Kelvedon Hatch, CM15 0AA from 8pm. There is an excellent restaurant so you can get there earlier if you wish to dine. How to get there
One possible route is - From Junction 28 of the M25 follow the A1028 to Brentwood then turn left onto the A128 which will take you into Kelvedon Hatch. Drive through the village and the pub is set back on the Left hand side as you leave the village. (The pub is on the opposite side of the road to the police station, and a large water tower set back from the road.)
Just a note for those of you that are following the directions above, Be Careful! It is easy to overshoot the pub car park!

When you get there
Make sure you introduce yourself. It's difficult for us to pick out newcomers from people standing at the bar. Just ask Stuart (the Landlord) or one of the bar staff to point you in the right direction.

The North Thames section of the MX-5 Owners Club continues to go from strength to strengthIn 2012 our membership continues to grow and our Club meetings and events are extremely well supported.
At our Club Night in May 2011 we set a record with 27 cars attending. In June we increased that to 33. In July we broke the record again with 40 cars. What will 2012 bring? Why not come along and help us break the record yet again. If you haven't been before, I can assure you of a warm and friendly welcome.
